How long is a session?
A complimentary 15-minute phone consultation is provided to discuss what we offer and what you’d like to get out of our services. By the end of our call you should have a good idea whether or not you want to work with our team. This call also gives us information on how we can best meet your needs; if we feel that we are not the right fit for you, we will give you an appropriate referral to someone we think could help you.
Follow up appointments are 50-minutes and are typically scheduled weekly unless other arrangements are made.
80-minute sessions are generally recommended for individuals/couples who would like to get more done in a single session, in addition to the first few sessions for couples that are working through betrayals.
How many sessions do I need?
This varies greatly from person to person depending on whether you seek marital preparation, have a deep history we need to work through, or just to make some minor tweaks in your life. This, coupled with the effort you put in outside of sessions, will help answer these questions. In our experience, clients who’ve had the most impactful, persistent shift in the trajectory of their futures have come between an average of 8 to 30 sessions.
Do you offer a reduced fee?
We believe healing should be accessible to everyone; for this reason we have a limited number of reduced fee weekly appointments (based on financial hardship). Please contact us to discuss further.
Are in person sessions availible?
All sessions are done virtually unless you join us for one of our retreats, all sessions are currently being conducted virtually through a secured video platform and will continue to be this way for the foreseeable future.
When and how can I schedule appointments?
New clients please schedule your first appointment during or close after your initial phone consultation. Current clients may access the online client portal to make appointments.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
If you must cancel an appointment, please do so 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Clients who miss appointments without canceling 48 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee. For your convenience, if you have a phone, smartphone, tablet, or computer you can still make your appointment via a tele-session if you are short on time or not feeling well.
How do I complete intake paperwork?
Intake paperwork is completed after the 15-minute consultation. It is completed online through an electronic records system that keeps your information secure.
Can these sessions help me?
Whether you are seeking Brainspotting, life coaching or marriage preparation we can give you support, validation, coping skills, and strategies to change your perspective and your behaviors. It can give you greater peace of mind and help you navigate difficult feelings and situations. It can give you a “corrective emotional experience.” Your clinician creates a safe, confidential, judgement-free space for you to express yourself authentically and may “get” you in a way no one else has. When this happens, it can be extremely powerful and transformative.
These sessions cannot change other people or external circumstances. Our clinicians provide psychoeducation, feedback, and guidance. We can't tell you how long it will take for you to feel better. Generally, the more you put into your sessions, the more you get out of it.

How often do we meet?
We recommend meeting once a week initially so we can jump right into working on your goals. Depending on your needs, sometimes it’s appropriate to meet every other week, instead of weekly, or twice a week as opposed to once a week. As you progress, we can reduce sessions to monthly appointments or to less frequent “tune ups” to support and maintain your progress.
Do you provide therapy via video?
Video sessions are offered through a secure video platform for all clients. This is a helpful tool that makes it possible to attend all your scheduled appointments no matter where you are. All you need is an internet connection and a computer, phone or tablet.
